Discovery Preschool
Our Discovery Preschool program offers classes for three, four, and five-year old children. The focus of the program is developmentally appropriate activities in the areas of math, literacy, art, science, and social/emotional development. Our curriculum directly aligns with the learning standards required in the public school.  We are a proud partner of Semcac Head Start and Early Childhood Special Education.

We offer Discovery 3K on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 8:00-10:30am for children age 3 by September 1; Discovery 4K on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8:00-11:00am; and Discovery 4K + Mondays thru Thursdays from 10:30am until the end of the school day (2:50pm M, T, Th and 2:10 W) for children age 4 by September 1.

Discovery Company for 4K+  ~  Curriculum based surround care!

Discovery Preschool ?4K+ students may join Discovery Company from 8:00am until 10:30am when preschool begins.  Discovery Company provides professional, quality child care that strives to meet each child's physical, emotional, social, and developmental needs. This structured childcare program utilizes the Creative Curriculum (used at Discovery Preschool) to extend preschool learning throughout the day.

**Discovery Company Surround Care for the Discovery Preschool 3K and 4K classes have been cancelled due to lack of enrollment.**

Kids Company School Age Childcare
Childcare before school (6:30am-8:00am) and after school (2:50 M, T, W, Th, F; 2:10 W) is available through Kids Company. Call Kids Company at 895-5156 for more information on this option or to enroll.

Discovery Preschool is located in the Early Childhood wing of the La Crescent-Hokah Elementary School, 504 South Oak Street, La Crescent.
