Learn to save a life! Learn critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Based on the course you select, students learn skills such as how to perform high-quality CPR, use of an AED, and how to recognize and respond to various types of illnesses and injuries.
Course Curriculum follows the 2020 AHA Guidelines. CPR face masks will be available for purchase if you would like one.
The La Crescent Fire Department is offering a blended learning class in which you will complete the online content of your desired class on your own time with the need to only come in to perform hands-on skills on the day of class. You will receive online instructions after signing up for the class. Plan for a few hours to complete the online content before the scheduled hands-on class. You will need to show proof of online completion at the time of the hands-on class (screenshot or print certificate is acceptable)
Registration deadline: Two weeks before class!

CPR class $59, First Aid class $59, Combination CPR First Aid $69 plus the cost for the online class (approximately $30) paid separately online
